Metas Adventist Hospital, Surat is one of the oldest and well known organizations with its wings spread in the fields of education and health care system. It’s a like gem studded in the crown of Seventh – Day Adventist World organization. Some important facts about this institution are as described below. Seventh Day Adventists – Worldwide out of 815 Seventh Day Adventist operated hospitals, 80% of them are JCI approved. In 1985 the first infant heart transplant was done at Loma Linda University which is world renowned for pediatric cardiac surgery.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Metas Adventist Hospital (formally known as Mission Hospital) is a part of the Seventh Day Adventists organization with more than 175 hospitals worldwide with its presence in 215 countries. It has its presence established in Surat city since 1923. It started as a humble dispensary at Udhna with the basic amenities for healthcare. Now, as we enter the centennial decade, and look back on its rich history and odyssey, one can afrmatively echo that the hospital has evolved from a Primary Healthcare facility to the city's most preferred Super Specialty Hospital. Having a wide spectrum of super-specialty disciplines, round-theclock doctors, state-of-the-art facilities, the hospital is a one-stop destination for availing treatment from simple discomfort to complex life-saving surgeries and procedures.
